This movie for me is one of the greatest movie ever made!
The story is brilliant and original. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore together are spectacular. The role fits them well and I think it’s one their best performances yet. I so love Adam Sandler’s character because he truly love Drew Barrymore in the movie. His efforts to show his love is admirable even if Drew Barrymore has a short-term memory loss. Other characters are funny and cool. The location of the movie is Hawaii, which is my dream destination. And I won’t forget the soundtrack... WOW! I couldn’t say more....
The movie will make you laugh, cry and fall in love. I can’t remember how many times I had watched 50 first dates. And like Drew Barrymore, it made me fall in love over and over again.
I can still remember the day i walked into the cinema, not knowing what to expect of the new realease, '50 First Dates'. I have to admit, I've watched this film over 20 times now and it still makes me laugh everytime. Adam Sandler is a great actor and is continually succeeding in all of his films, but this is definitely one of my fave's from him! He is a natural comedian, and with this great storyline of '50 First Dates', he has genuinely made an excellent perfomance, yet again.
It's brilliant to see Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore reunited! They both are so great together on the screen and this was a great movie. As you can imagine, it's extremely funny, but also heartfelt. The storyline is beautiful, and it shows the lengths one man will go to for love.
Well he did. The day after watching this movie, my husband went out and brought me the biggest bunch of flowers with a note saying "Just remember how much I love you!!!" So for no other reason than what this movie may provoke your partner to do - Just Watch It. It is incredibly funny, and with it simple yet occassionally predictable story line (what movie isn't predictable at some point), this movie left me with a feel good feeling. The father and brother in this story reduced me to tears. This movie is not only about the love of a man and a woman but also the love of family. Do yourselves a favour and take some timeout to watch this movie.
but seriously,
i laughed so hard watching this movie, that stuff came flyin outta my nose. It's wayyyy better than Sandler's last 4 projects, which really weren't that funny. Well, okay, mr. deeds was kinda funny....anything with steve buschemi....i digress.
if you're a first timer and you're expecting some serious dramatic moments, then good news, there's a walrus in the movie which plays the part to perfection.
on the whole, really funny, good ending...kinda bittersweet, okay i cried - so sue me!
