Set in 1960s Baltimore, the story follows a plump young girl named Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonski, in her acting debut) on an amazing journey as her dream of dancing on the popular Corny Collins Show becomes a reality. Hairspray is a fantastic movie of the musical and includes an all star cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Effron, Queen Latifa and many more. The songs are very catchy and the message of the story is very fitting. All in all toe tapping, fun movie.
