Based on the Stephen King novella, The Mist tells of an apocalyptic fog which overcomes the United States' eastern seaboard, swallowing everything - and everyone - in its path. Barricading themselves inside a local supermarket, some of the residents of Bridgton, Maine manage to save themselves from the intitial onslaught, but the worst is yet to come...
With the creatures of the mist lurking just outside the building's flimsy glass walls, and a dangerous religious lunatic gathering influence among the stranded townspeople, David Drayton (Thomas Jane), his young son Billy (Nathan Gamble) and a handful of compatriots must survive the threats both outside and in.
