The Space Between
DVDSeptember 11, 2001. Montine McLeod, a lonely flight attendant disinterested in her job and her life, is placed in charge of ten year old Pakistani-American Omar Hassan, an unaccompanied minor travelling from his home in New York to his new boarding school in LA. When their plane is grounded in Texas amidst the chaos of that day, Montine is forced to take responsibility for Omar and decides to drive him across country back to New York City to re-unite him with his father. Along the way they help each other discover the importance of friendship, tolerance, redemption, acceptance and hope.
