Her various possessions remain in residence items that are feeding Trelkovskys growing obsession with the woman. Or are they fuelling his madness?
A Golden Palm nominee at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, this atmospheric and obsessive thriller with a stellar international cast Isabelle Adjani, Melvyn Douglas, Jo Van Fleet, Bernard Fresson, Lila Kedrova and Shelley Winters has been heralded by many as one of the directors finest films.
