Tom Ford FT0207S 17C 59 William sunglasses are THE Iconic aviators. They were originally designed for Daniel Craig in James Bond. The beautifully crafted silver metal frame hosts a slightly accentuated top bar and perfectly curved silver grey mirrored lens which features the Tom Ford engraved branding. Tom Ford is best known for putting the glamour back into fashion and turning the failing Gucci fashion house from near bankruptcy to multi-billion dollar business. He went on to do the same when Gucci acquired the YSL label, using his creative and innovative style he employed French stylist Carine Roitfeld and photographer Mario Testino to create a series of modern and provocative ad campaigns which rocketed the labels credibility and increased brand sales by over 90%. After leaving the fashion house in 2004 following artistic differences with the PR bosses, Tom Ford went on to create his own brand of cosmetics and eyewear, and then on to designing his own menswear range. The Tom Ford eyewear collection is now one of the most popular eyewear brands of present, with a huge celebrity following including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Anniston and Cheryl Cole who are all regularly photographed wearing Tom Ford sunglasses.
