Systems Engineerdstore's proprietary software platform is a multiple module, heavily integrated and highly functional web application linking to multiple databases hosted on comprehensive and scalable server infrastructure. The successful candidate will report directly to the IT Manager and will work as part of a team managing and maintaining the technology platform behind one of Australia's largest ecommerce companies. You will be responsible primarily for the infrastructure behind the store front, including maintenance, capacity planning, performance tuning and uptime. You will also be responsible for the regular release process. Additionally when project deadlines are tight, you may be required to carry out some temporary PHP development.
